Library
Leeds radical library collective is a collection of books and resources that encourage critical, systemic political thought to help us understand the society we are part of. Connected to The Space Project, we wish to challenge the institution of the university and create a new type of education where academia and learning are open to all and we can teach and learn from each other collectively.
However, we do not wish our library to be solely about resources, we wish to also encourage a culture of discussion through our reading group New Weapons, and by inviting speakers and holding book launches. By holding these away from the traditional university setting we hope to challenge the idea that critical thought only comes from the university institution.
It would be great if you could assist us in our project either by donating books, or helping us to promote our library by holding book launches or speaker tours at our space. If you can help in anyway please contact us using the above details.
